Hello, my name is Rebecca, and I have been a part of Infigo for 14 years now (wow, I still can’t believe it myself!), and it still feels as though I’ve just started working here. That shows to me, and hopefully to everyone else, that Infigo has a competitive company culture in being such a welcoming place to work. Everyone here is friendly, outgoing, and welcomes new team members with open arms.
Going down memory lane a bit, from where we first started to where we are right now, is truly amazing. It really shows how much technology has changed over the years, but also how it provides new opportunities to expand and improve ourselves as a business.
From Teas and Coffees to Creative Campaigns
My role at Infigo is in the Marketing team as a Graphic Designer, but I didn’t start in that role. In fact, I started as an Office Assistant.
You might be wondering how I went from making teas and coffees to now working on designs for storefronts, social posts, products, etc. Well, Infigo was my first proper job. I had some work experience in an office before as part of school, but right from the start I felt welcomed and valued as a new member of the team.
Discovering My Passion for Design
As time went on, my skills in the office grew. I started working on testing demo sites, creating graphics, and gradually taking on more tasks on the laptop. I was then trained by two amazing graphic designers to start working on design projects, and I felt like my whole view of design opened up. I was (and still am) eager to learn as much as I can to better myself and build a new path in my career. Plus, it helps that I love anything creative, when I’m not designing on screen, I enjoy drawing and painting in my free time!
Career Progression and Support
After a year, I was promoted to Junior Graphic Designer and joined the Marketing team, which I’m still part of today. A few years later, I was promoted again to the position I’m in now, and I still love the work I do every day.
Infigo’s Growth as a Company
Infigo has had its highs and lows over the years, but we’ve kept pushing to better ourselves as a company. We’ve partnered with fantastic companies that share the same goals, to provide great content, web builds, and ideas, tips, and tricks, as technology and products continue to evolve.
As our work has expanded, so has our team, and it’s amazing to see all the fantastic people who work here. Everyone contributes great ideas daily. We also hold monthly meetings and a yearly company event to showcase what each department has done and to stay connected, especially since some of us work in Moldova, Spain, and the US. Each person here comes up with truly amazing work every day.
