Everything a sensible operator wants to know before booking half a day.
Create & Automate is a partner-led event series that demonstrates a fully connected print workflow, from online order capture through to press-ready output, using five integrated technology platforms shown live, in one room. It is co-hosted and co-funded by Infigo, Enfocus, printIQ, GMG Color and Printess.
Print business owners, operations directors, production managers and workflow leads at print service providers in the north of England, Midlands and Scotland. It is aimed at operators running mid-to-large print operations who are actively evaluating how to connect the systems around their presses.
Wednesday 17 June 2026, 09:30 to 14:30, at The Terrace, 3 Wellington Place, Leeds LS1 4AP. The venue is a five-minute walk from Leeds station with direct rail, motorway and Leeds Bradford Airport access.
Five integrated partners, each owning one stage of the connected workflow: Infigo (web-to-print & storefronts), Enfocus (automated preflight), printIQ (MIS and production management), GMG Color (colour management and proofing) and Printess (AI-assisted design tools).
A connected print workflow is one where order capture, design, preflight, colour, MIS, scheduling and output are integrated through APIs and shared data. A job flows from customer to press with no manual re-keying, no file hand-offs over email, and no lost time between systems. In practice it means fewer production stoppages, lower cost-per-job, and predictable turn-around you can actually quote against.
No booths. No sales pitches. No parallel tracks. The five partners co-present a single end-to-end workflow demonstration. You watch one real job move through five platforms, with each vendor explaining exactly what their system is doing and where the integration lives. The format is designed for operators who want to see the plumbing, not a keynote reel.
Places are by invitation and registration. Capacity is limited to 30 attendees to keep the format intimate and the networking productive. Lunch and refreshments are included.
A clear picture of what a truly integrated print ecosystem looks like when it is running; a practical checklist of where most print businesses leak time and margin between disconnected systems; and direct conversations with the senior UK/EMEA leads at five platforms that are already working together in production sites across the UK and Europe.
No. The event is deliberately vendor-neutral in audience. Many attendees are evaluating their first web-to-print platform, MIS replacement or colour management overhaul. Others are already running one or two of the five and are looking at how the rest connect.
Yes. The half-day format runs 09:30 – 14:30 and concludes with a networking lunch at the venue. The Terrace has an outdoor area which, weather permitting, we’ll use for the post-session drinks.
Yes, places are transferable within the same organisation. Email David.McGuiness@infigo.net with the replacement’s details no later than 48 hours before the event.
Every attendee receives a follow-up summary of the workflow demonstrated on the day, including a breakdown of each platform’s role and how they connect. You will also have direct access to the teams behind all five partner platforms if you want to explore any element in more detail.
The cost varies depending on which elements you are already running and how much of your current process you want to automate. Rather than quoting a generic number, the Create & Automate format is designed to help you understand exactly where the investment goes and what the return looks like in practice. The partner teams at the event can walk you through what implementation looks like for an operation your size.
