Blog: Infigo and Esko combine superpowers at drupa

Posted on

When a workflow partners sends up the bat signal, Infigo answers the call.

Which is why you might see us rushing around faster than a speeding bullet at this year’s drupa exhibition, held from the Messe Düsseldorf, Germany on 28th May – 7th June 2024.

Since we were attending Europe’s largest printing event already, as HP’s premier web-to-print provider and only supplier in HP Hall 17, when Esko mentioned that they too required an online storefront for their own workflow demonstration, our spidey-sense tingled and we came swinging.

So, whilst in an industry first, Infigo will be demonstrating how AI personalisation will become a critical aspect of print, by transforming your selfie into a superhero that appears on your very own label or packaging product over in HP Hall 17, our Infigo Avengers will also be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Esko in Hall 8b to battle evil (well, demonstrate the superpowers of personalisation) as they also team up with CERM and HP for a fully automated workflow.

Channel personalisation lightening

During the demonstration, visitors will find out how to bring a mystical hammer down on unnecessary and costly manual touchpoints.

You will see how when Esko, Infigo, CERM, and HP Site Flow assemble, it enables users to streamline workflows, by automating processes and offering personalisation for packaging businesses at scale.

Traditionally, packaging production lines involve multiple stakeholders meaning final delivery timelines can take several months.

After recently joining forces with HP, the demonstration from Esko, featuring Infigo and CERM, will manage content and data across the value chain, allowing contributors to collaborate on packaging projects and reduce the overall lead time from months to weeks, ultimately unlocking the ability to provide packaging customisation on a larger scale.

With an integrated Infigo web portal, brand owners are in full control of their packaging orders.

They can place orders on-demand, reducing delivery times from weeks to days, decreasing stocks, and ultimately, reducing costs. This level of control and efficiency is what the future of packaging looks like.

This also enhances visibility and control for brand owners and increases the press capacity of packaging converters.

A decade of innovation

Douglas Gibson, CEO & Founder at Infigo, said that he couldn’t wait to demonstrate Infigo’s capabilities across a number of different workflows and integrations at drupa – the result of a decade of development.

He said: “With the last drupa being well over 8 years ago, Infigo has enjoyed setting many industry firsts, while trailblazing some new features and functionality that has transformed our customers’ businesses.

“We’re bringing the best web-to-print platform in the globe to the largest print tradeshow in the world, and we are pleased to do this alongside some of our incredible partners and industry associations.

“Forget superheroes.. this is super CONNECTIVITY, like no other!”

Brand new features for increased productivity and profit

Douglas explained that Infigo has been continually developing new features, that allow customers to:

  • Build storefronts faster, without compromising on design
  • Build storefronts that are easier to use and navigate
  • Provide advanced template tools, that allow almost any template type to be built with speed and ease, all within our simple Adobe InDesign Plugin, Invent
  • An API that has proven to give some of the best connectivity within the industry, linking disparate systems and helping our customers automate complex tasks, driving more value and profit back into the business
  • Integrate with some of the leading MIS systems such as printIQ, Tharstern and CERM, to name but a few
  • Integrate into their customer’s business systems, such as Cupar and PeopleSoft, to enable the customer’s clients to onboard faster while truly driving a solution that drives repeat orders and increases engagement with the client
  • Single sign-on functionality, where many other web-to-print systems really fall short, we are here to integrate from SAML to AD or simply into standard auth tools like OKTA
  • Onboard 100’s of new clients while building 1000’s of new storefronts that is accessed by 100,000’s of users all across the globe

Douglas said: “Infigo has established itself as the leading player in 2nd and 3rd generation web-to-print where customers have hit a roadblock and require a web-to-print system that can truly grow with their business.

“To say that it’s been a busy decade of work is an understatement, but we are not stopping here. We will continue to innovate, build, and create a solution that drives bottom-line revenue and automation to our customers like no other web-to-print on the planet.

“If it has to be web-to-print, then it absolutely has to be Infigo!”

A superhero’s work is never done

Once our mission at drupa is completed, we will put down our capes and be flying by plane for a change, to Texas, USA, this time joining Esko at their very own EskoWorld 2024 event, held between 25 and 27 June at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, TX.

So, if you can’t make it to drupa, we hope to see you there.
