Remember the good old days when everything was better? Orders coming in via post or email, being manually checked and processed, payments sorted based on payment terms and then handed over to be processed by production. Job Ticket print outs followed our job through that journey. Accounting information must be managed and kept in sync in parallel. And to perform reporting, data had to be entered manually in an Excel spreadsheet for future analysis.

Unfortunately, this was slow, couldn’t scale, and would lead to many errors.

For a while now, Infigo offer connected systems, from order input to accounting, from tax, shipping and price estimations to MIS and ERP systems. From user management systems to product management systems and the list goes on and on.

With APIs and integrations, they can work seamlessly together to automate every step along the way.

Types of Web-to-Print Integrations Available with Infigo

Your Infigo platform can help you with that transition and can utilize a wide range of existing integrations to make the process as seamless as possible.

Infigo allows you to select from a range of built-in modules which help establish a connection in the shortest possible time.

And even when there is no built-in solution out of the box, there are many options within Infigo’s workflow system, webhooks and APIs to tailor a solution specific to our requirements.

User Management

We offer Single-Sign-On solutions like CAS and SAML as well as API driven single sign on methods to manage the users in a separated dedicated identity provider. This not only allows you to control access to Infigo a lot better and easier but also establishes a single source of truth for your user base. You can control compliance and enforce password and MFA requirements independently.

This will also allow you to sync user data like name, roles and addresses during the login process.

Stock and Price

We can utilize live stock and price calculations with a range of 3rd party MIS plugins to pull stock levels and estimated costs directly from the source engines. In addition, we can utilize our workflow engine to pull data from any 3rd party with the necessary connectivity options.

Not to mention Infigo’s built-in pricing engine which is versatile and can be customized to fit most needs.

ERP and MIS integrations

With our Connect modules, orders created in Infigo can be pushed to 3rd party systems easily. This not only includes the metadata of the job like item details, quantity, attributes and addresses but also the finalized and production ready artwork.

Infigo offers integrations with Cerm, printIQ, HP Site Flow, VeraCore, Enfocus Switch, Hybrid Software, LabelTraxx, Optimus and Tharstern – but also a generic connection via our Connect Flow module which will allow you to ping any 3rd party while being able to adjust the request and response structure to fit the requirements of the other side.

These integrations are also bi-directional – allowing status updates like printed or shipped to come back into Infigo, which in turn can trigger actions such as sending emails or capturing payments.

If no external solution exists, there is also the option to work with hotfolders and utilizing our Infigo Sync application which will pull down files and optionally job data to a local machine for processing.

Payment and Shipping

An important part of an eCommerce flow is of course to automatically capture payments and provide shipping details like rates and optionally shipping labels.

We have a range of plugins available to integrate with big names like Stripe, Opayo, PayPal, CyberSource and more to capture the payment. Where supported, there are various options available to authorize first and capture later or collect the payment in one go at order creation.

Easypost Logo markFor shipping we have a few direct web-to-print integrations with FedEx, UPS and USPS as well as supporting hundreds of carriers via EasyPost. EasyPost will also allow you to automatically generate shipping labels which can be pulled down automatically on the packing slip or separately.

As different countries and industries require different payment and shipping providers we are actively working on bridging the gap and allow any payment and shipping provider to be used. This would, of course, require some technical adjustments, which can be done by Infigo as a professional service or for a technical team you provide. For shipping this is already possible via our custom workflow engine to pull rates in from any supported connection, and we are excited to reveal soon a feature to integrate any payment provider into our storefront.

Tax Provider and Address verification

Providing the correct tax rates can be a difficult task, specifically in the United States where regional tax is very complex, so we have the option to pull tax rates on the fly with our integrations.

Address verification can also be enabled to ensure addresses entered at checkout are valid and correct.

The integrations available by Infigo currently cannot be extended but stay tuned for news when this will be available.

Product Sync

Some integrations we have for PrintIQ and Veracore already provide a product sync feature, which allows to have only a single source of truth for your product offering in the ERP system. However, with the API or our Excel based product import feature any PIM can be utilized.

Beyond the standard: Custom Workflow Module, Webhooks and API

For anything where the existing web-to-print integrations reach their limits, there are more options available with your Infigo platform via our custom workflow module, webhooks and API calls.

The custom workflow engine allows a scripted approach to work with users, catalogue, orders and artwork, can modify PDFs, send out emails or call API endpoints. It can be triggered in the background, via an API endpoint, on changes of the items in Infigo, at order creation or login and can help you achieve almost anything required.

Technical skills are required to utilize this and Infigo is happy to help or assist you as a professional service.
