Our meet the team collection introduces different members of the Infigo team in a slightly different light, to show a side to them that you’ve most likely never seen before. This time is the turn of Pablo Cubillas, who shares a few of his creature comforts, out of hour activities, and some insights into what makes him tick.

What’s your favorite food?

What do you enjoy most about working for Infigo?
The staff. I can speak with them about anything and everything, plus they’re not really my colleagues, they’re my friends.
As I work remotely from Spain, I don’t have as many opportunities to socialise with them all, but I always travel with boardgames in my backpack, so that when we do, I have an excuse to play games with some of the other nerds in the company.
What are your hobbies?
Collecting boardgames or playing videogames.
As a self-confessed nerd myself, it’s sometimes tricky finding others with the same interests.
What can’t you live without?
My family. Spending time with my wife and daughter is what keeps me going!
Tell us a bit about yourself, in your own words?
I have been with Infigo for over 6 years now, and it still feels like I only started recently.
Every day is always different thanks to the new and interesting projects we take on, and, as a problem solver, it makes me tick whenever we find a solution.
As part of the Development Team, one of my responsibilities is to prioritise tasks and then work closely with the team in Moldova to solve them, as well as create the required technical specifications. Those Moldovans really are the stars of Infigo!
It’s also really rewarding to hear back from our customers, or read feedback, that shows my job has made an impact.
Tell us a fun fact not many people know about you
I have played the saxophone in a wind band for more than 10 years now, playing at lots of local festivals, as well as Moors & Christians parades (often after several days with little or no sleep).
What is your dream holiday location?
I’m fortunate enough to live in a beach area that I love, however my dream location would be a ski holiday in a log cabin. The thrill of the slopes during the day, with the cosiness of firewood and hot drinks during the night is the perfect combination.
Why would you recommend Infigo to potential customers?
Infigo are a company that really cares about its customers, always putting them first. I can personally vouch for the development team, who are fantastic, and are always updating the platform to include the latest technologies and tools available.
Beach or mountain?
Beach. Having a nap under a beach umbrella and listening to the sound of the waves doesn’t get much better.
