Our Meet the Team series gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible people who power Infigo. This time, we’re introducing George Vragalev, one of our talented Backend Developers based in Chisinau, Moldova.
From winning nine hackathons during his university days to juggling software development and his passion for motorcycles, George thrives on challenges. Since joining Infigo, he’s been part of a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, helping push our platform to new heights. When he’s not coding, you’ll find him learning new languages, playing chess, or hitting the gym to balance out a life spent solving complex problems.

What’s your favourite food?
I love Georgian cuisine, maybe because it also starts with George.
What’s your biggest achievement in the last 2 years?
During university, my team and I participated in and won nine hackathons, some of which took us to Estonia, the city of start-ups. These competitions gave us invaluable experience and unforgettable memories — making every sleepless 72-hour weekend spent working on projects absolutely worth it. Our biggest win? A $2,000 grant that validated all our hard work.
What do you enjoy most about working for Infigo?
What I enjoy most about Infigo is the dynamic and growth – driven environment. The team is highly focused, always striving to improve both themselves and the product, which makes it an inspiring place to work and grow.
What are your hobbies?
I’ve been fascinated by motorcycles and driving since childhood, so as soon as I was old enough, I got my license. A few years later, I made my dream a reality and bought my first motorcycle. If you’re ever with me and a loud exhaust bike passes by, you can bet the conversation will shift instantly!
Beyond motorcycles, I have a passion for reading and learning new languages — right now, I’m focused on Norwegian. I also enjoy playing chess on Chess.com and listening to audiobooks in my free time.
What can’t you live without?
Ever since I got a gym membership, I’ve made it a priority to go at least three times a week. When I miss a session — or skip a swim — I can definitely feel the difference. It’s the perfect way to balance out a sedentary work routine and stay active.
Tell us about your journey with Infigo ?
I joined Infigo during my second year of university, which was challenging with the demands of coursework and lab work. What started as a simple summer internship turned into a full-time role, and despite the sleepless nights juggling both, I wouldn’t change a thing. Looking back, it was a rewarding and dynamic experience.
Now that university is nearly over, I’ve been able to channel that energy into new activities, like those mentioned in my hobbies. Working at Infigo has given me the opportunity to learn from industry experts, refine my software skills, and even develop my own software projects.
Tell us a fun fact not many people know about you?
Former Sunday league goalkeeper for one of Liverpool’s local teams.
What is your dream holiday location?
My dream trip would be a motorcycle tour across Europe on a cruiser bike, with Norway as the final destination. As the saying goes, “It’s not about the destination, but the journey,” and for me, that journey would be riding through Europe’s most breathtaking roads, experiencing the landscapes and freedom along the way.

On top of that we are actively looking to enhance our product, with new features that can benefit your business.
